iPhone & iPad prohibited in Russia
The Russian government will ban the use of the iPhone and iPad in the country as of 1 January 2015. This of course has nothing to do with the demolition of the monument Steve Jobs in the Iron Curtain country because of Apple CEO Tim Cook admitted gay.
The base problem is contained in iCloud, in violation of the rules will be applied to the brand-new starting early 2015. The rule requires online service providers to store data in Russia.
While Apple's iCloud servers located in the United States. Therefore, the Russian government would ban the use of all devices connected to the iCloud iOS.
This rule applies not only to Apple, but to all online service providers operating in the country. No exception such social media services Twitter and Facebook, which would suffer the same fate.
As quoted from Ubergizmo, Wednesday (05/11/2014), while for IOS devices that are already in circulation, will be exposed to the blocking of access to iCloud. Until now, Apple has not commented on the issue.
