Dropbox account can be accessed with a fingerprint



Dropbox users can now save their documents more secure, because the company's cloud storage service providers strengthen security features using the user's fingerprint.



Dropbox released an update to the iOS app that can read the user's fingerprint as a password to unlock the account. That is, the new owner of the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can enjoy this feature.

To use it, users must set TouchID first feature on the device, and then download and updated versions of Dropbox on the App Store. If users have downloaded the latest version, then when you open the application there will be a settings icon at the bottom of the screen.

Select the setting for the Passcode Lock, then click the "Turn Passcode On" then the application will prompt the user to enter a four-digit passcode. After that the Passcode screen, tap the option to activate TouchID, then try to exit the application and re-entry.

Once enabled, Dropbox will ask the user's fingerprint and password numbers that have been registered previously.

Fingerprint features is given Dropbox to complicate hackers when intending to steal user data. Some time ago, a group of hackers claimed to have stolen information seven million user name and password Dropbox users.

However, some parties said some accounts and passwords leaked by hackers is a combination that is false to simply scare.



Dropbox also confirms the security of their system is not hacked. "The document you are safe," wrote Dropbox in the publication in the company's official blog. The company explains, account and password that published it is taken from third-party services, and has nothing to do with the Dropbox service.
