2 years boy died of infected ebola in mali, Many People Can Be Infected  - Bamako - A little girl died of Ebola in Mali. 2-year-old boy was the first Ebola case in Mali.


The World Health Organization (WHO) warned as reported by AFP on Saturday (10/25/2014), a lot of people potentially infected with the deadly virus because the boy had traveled far.

The boy went with his grandmother by bus from Guinea via Bamako, Mali's capital to the city of Kayes in western Mali. The trip hundreds of miles.

To prevent the spread of Ebola in Mali, medical workers now trying to explore the possibility of hundreds of people who come into contact with the boy. In a statement released Friday, October 24th evening local time, the Malian government confirmed the deaths of children who are not named.

"In this moment of grief, the government would like to send our condolences to his family and to remind the public that maintaining strict hygiene rules remains the best way to cure this disease," remarked.

Mali is a West African country sixth reported case of Ebola. Previously, Senegal and Nigeria have managed to deal with the outbreak and has been declared free of Ebola. While Spain and the United States have reported several cases of Ebola.

Ebola outbreak has so far killed about 4,900 people, primarily in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. Experts warned that tens of thousands of other people at risk of contracting this disease.
