Japanese farmers back broke new ground by creating a citrus-scented egg. The eggs were produced in Kochi Prefecture located in the southwest of the island of Shikoku. Yuzu Tama, the name of the egg has the aroma and taste of these eggs like Yuzu, one of the most popular citrus fruit in Japan.
Yuzu has a combination of lemon and orange flavors. These eggs do not contain chemicals or flavorings. Yuzu Tama produced by feeding chickens using yuzu peel mixed with large amounts of kale, non-transgenic maize and sesame seeds.
Eggs produced, looks the same as the usual eggs, it's just that they have a citrus scent that is seductive. According Inquisitr, the egg was issued Yuzu strong aroma coupled with a refreshing citrus flavor that anyone who takes this egg will feel the incredible sensation.
Tama Yuzu eggs sold for between 400 and 500 yen, equivalent to Rp 43 thousand to Rp 54 thousand per six grains. Eggs were already sold in some stores in Tokyo.
