Russian scientist Will Finish Trial Ebola vaccine in February 2015
A group of Russian scientists from St. Petersburg Research Institute of Influenza, have developed a vaccine against the deadly Ebola virus and from the trial is scheduled to be completed in February 2015. The vaccine has been sent to the Center of Virology of the country's defense ministry, and will be first tested on animals.
"Ebola vaccine was created by a group of young scientists and are now undergoing tests for genetic stability," said an official from the research institute.
While clinical tests involving volunteers will be in Africa. So, all phases of the trial is expected to be completed in February. Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) states that the number of victims since the beginning of the outbreak of Ebola be reached 7693 and 19.695 people have been infected.
Most of the deaths were reported most in the West African countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
