US President Barack Obama apologized to the bridal couple in Hawaii, which should change the marriage, on 30 December. The bride and groom were forced to change the location of the wedding ceremony because it coincides with Obama's golfing activities during the holidays. Obama's apology was delivered by telephone directly to the bridal couple.
Militar US captain Natalie Mallue Heimel and Edward Jr. had planned to get married on the golf course at the Marine Corps base in Hawaii but were forced to change because Obama will play golf during the holidays in the same place.
So Captain Heimel and Captain Mallue move their wedding ceremony to a park overlooking the hole 16, and the middle of the show Obama called them. In a telephone conversation, Obama said no one told him about the changes to the event. (BBC)
