Outperform Obama, Jokowi Finish at position 8 'Person of the Year' TIME Magazine
President Joko Widodo name entered in the Person of the Year poll held by TIME Magazine. Although not topped the rankings, Jokowi managed to surpass the United States President Barack Obama.
Excerpted from the website TIME, Wednesday (12/10/2014) night, Ebola fighters stay in the top magazine editors choice of origin of Uncle Sam. Followed by Ferguson Protesters in second and Vladimir Putin in third. While Massoud Barzani is ranked fourth followed by Jack Ma.
As for the choice of the reader through a poll, the champion title Person of the Year 2014 awarded to India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 16.2 percent of votes. Protesters Ferguson is in the second position, which stood at 9.2 percent noise.
Well, for Jokowi positions and former Governor of Jakarta, the reader is placed in eighth place with 2.7 percent of the votes. While Obama, who previously had been twice elected to the Time of the Year is ranked 11th with 2.2 percent noise.
Earlier in the poll, which opened in mid-November to 6 December 2014, Jokowi been ranked 7th with 2.8 percent and Obama at No. 12 with 2.3 percent. Unfortunately the position shifted to the closing of the poll are delivered via Twitter, Facebook and the site itself TIME.com.
