Behind sophistication, Google's smart glasses Glass is often controversy. Like what?
In order to avoid piracy of movies in theaters, Motion Picture Association of America and the US National Cinema Owners' Association decided to ban the wearable device that has a function to record such as Google Glass to get into the cinema.
This effort is part of a vigorous anti-piracy policy conducted by both institutions, reports NBC News. Motion Picture Association of America stated that the US motion picture industry loses billions of dollars every year due to acts of piracy.
"As part of our efforts to make sure that the movie was not filmed in the cinema, we set a zero tolerance policy (zero tolerance) for the recording device when the film was played," said both institutions in a joint statement.
Both institutions are added, other than turning off the phone, cinema visitors should turn off the wearable device and keep it for the movie is playing. Anyone who does not heed this rule will be expelled out of the cinema.
